1. Seed workshop – The part where we learn how to look after the seeds – cleaning, processing, and direct seeding techniques.These seeds will be commercially propagated for us – and then returned when ready, so that we can replant in Maralla Road Reserve.
2. The Big Map! You can see at the entire City of Swan on a giant 10m by 12m map! This enables us to see how our two Reserves help form part of a vital green corridor across the region.
(and for fun, you can also see you own house!) Take a look at where our two reserves fit into the big picture – and a chance to meet up with other Friends Groups in the area.
Note: Please bring socks – no bare feet or shoes on the map.
3. A celebratory lunch – the DBCA has kindly rewarded our work with a $150 voucher to fund refreshments. We’ll make good use of it together.
