The Friends of the R.H. Johnson Library lecture series continues on Wednesday, Aug. 26, with this presentation on Del Webb!
Presented by the Sun Cities Area Historical Society, this upcoming lecture tells the story of how a high school dropout went on to build one of the nation’s largest construction firms, own the New York Yankees for 20 years, pioneered the casino/convention hotel in Las Vegas and went against the experts’ advice in opening the nation’s first active adult community.
Free to attend, this lecture starts at 2 p.m. and takes place inside the Lecture Hall on the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center.
