UTC-07:00Location
Natrona County Library | Casper, WY
As part of the sale, the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra will host an “Instrument Petting Zoo” from 10 AM to 2 PM, giving children a hands-on opportunity to explore stringed instruments alongside our talented musicians. Kids can try out a violin or viola and experience the joy of making music with guidance from Symphony professionals.
The sale will feature a huge number of piano instruction and performance items as well as instructional materials for a variety of musical instruments and categories. We will have many collectible vinyl records, sheet music, books, and collector plates as well as instruments including a vintage flute and trumpet, music stands, a violin and viola, an electronic keyboard, amplifier, and recorders. All instruments will be sold in a silent auction.
Appointments are not necessary for this sale. We are asking for donations of cash or items for the Humane Society for admission at the entrance. Donations may include blankets, towels, toys, leashes, collars, bleach, paper towels, dish soap, 13 and 33 gallon trash bags. Please, no food.
Special thanks go out to all donors for this sale as well as to Hill Music who, not only evaluated the instruments which were donated to the sale, but which also loaned the student size instruments to the Symphony for the Instrument Petting Zoo. These donations and purchases at this sale help the Friends of the Library, as a non-profit organization, work toward our goal of promoting literacy as well as helping the Symphony create awareness of music and musical opportunities.
