You're invited to the annual used book sale organized by the Friends of the Helmerich Library, taking place this year from April 16-18 and 24-25!
The sale will kick off with something new this year: a full preview DAY on April 16th! We've heard you and know you want more time to shop our sale, so we're offering two different time slots:
- VIP Members: 12-4pm, $20 membership
- General members: 5-8pm, $5 individuals/$10 for families
Admittance is paid at checkout, so you only pay if you buy! Be the first to pick out high-quality books and media!
ABOUT THE SALE
Every year, the Helmerich Library receives thousands of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games, and more donated by patrons, and prepares them for our sale. All proceeds go toward funding programs and initiatives at our library as well as helping other branches in the Tulsa City-County Library system.
The sale offers books across all genres, including fiction, nonfiction, children's and young adult, biography, mystery, spiritual/religious, science fiction, fantasy, self-help, history, business, gardening, crafts, and cooking, so there's something for everyone on our shelves! Materials are sorted by category for easy browsing. We hope you'll mark your calendar to attend this special event.
