Jonathan has been president of the Friends of Bosque del Apache NWR (New Mexico) for 3 years and a board member for the last 10. He is semi-retired after a global career in technology and now has more time to indulge his passion for birding in the US and around the world. Each year he leads a birding trip to Central/South America which not only creates additional revenue for the Friends but helps to extend his life list on eBird. For the Friends he dedicates as much time as possible to fundraising and advocacy.
