This year we will be offering the following full-day workshop choices:
Workshop 1: Heritage Dolls- Sew Your Own
Step back in time and bring history to life—one stitch at a time! In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a primitive-style doll dressed in historical clothing, guided by step-by-step instruction. Using a sewing machine, you’ll construct the doll’s body, hand-finish details, and dress it in garments inspired by 19th-century Pennsylvania German styles.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves textile arts, history, or hands-on crafting. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a unique, handcrafted doll that reflects both historical charm and your own personal touch. No prior dollmaking experience is required—just a love of sewing and creativity!
