In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Christ Church welcomes Modus Operandi Orchestra (MOO), under the direction of Music Director Justin Bischof, for a concert on Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00 PM.

The program celebrates the extraordinary richness of American orchestral music, from Copland’s iconic fanfare to Barber’s brilliant writing for organ and orchestra, luminous strings, and an evocative portrait of an American summer evening. Organist Eugene Lavery and soprano Katherine Whyte join MOO as featured soloists. The concert culminates with Hanson’s sweeping “Romantic” Symphony, one of the great American symphonies of the twentieth century.

Join us at Christ Church for this festive musical celebration of America at 250.
