About this Event
For the final Friends of Flor Fina dinner of the year, Hotel Haya welcomes Chef Suz Lara of Lara Apothecary Bar & Bazaar for a collaborative four-course dining experience celebrating one of the kitchen's most versatile ingredients: the egg.
A veteran of Tampa's culinary scene, Chef Suz has led kitchens at Ella’s Americana Folk Art Cafe and Cass Street Deli and worked as a sous chef at Rooster & The Till. Lara Bar is the culmination of years of hard work and a lifelong dream, a love letter to Tampa and its food community.
Together, Chef Eric and Chef Rateb of Hotel Haya with Chef Suz are putting a playful spin on breakfast classics, exploring unexpected flavors and techniques through a thoughtfully crafted menu. Guests will enjoy live culinary demonstrations, including a closer look at the art of poaching an egg, alongside stories, tips, and a few surprises from the kitchen.
