We’re back for 2026! The Friends of Cardiff Riding School invite you to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt through our 40 acres of parkland.The Friends of Cardiff Riding School are holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April 2026.
Groups can book time slots between 10.00 and 14:30. The hunt will take approximately 30-60 minutes.
Follow the clues on foot through our 40 acres to be rewarded with an egg and meet some of the lovely horses and ponies. Wellington boots and wet weather gear a must!
Please note that tickets are non-refundable once booked. The Easter Egg hunt will go ahead whatever the weather!
Please note this event will be outdoors on possibly wet and uneven ground so the event is not suitable for push chairs or wheelchairs.
Apologies, but due to safety around the horses, dogs are not invited.
PRICING AND TICKETS
Tickets are £8 per egg hunter (please select ‘General admission’ and choose a time slot e.g. General admission - Sunday 10:00)
£3 per additional person accompanying an egg hunter (please select the add-on ‘Accompanying Adult’ for each extra person attending including children).
A ticket is required for each extra person attending. Please note all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
These ticket prices include the cost with the booking fee. An E ticket is then sent to your phone, which can be shown on the day.
Time slots are every 15 minutes with an allocation of up to 6 egg hunters per time slot. Larger groups can book time slots next to each other and hunt together.
When you arrive for your hunt, one of the volunteers will show you a safety and instruction video and ask you to sign in. Once you have been given your map and first clue you will be ready to start hunting!
PARKING
The riding school has limited parking and these spaces will be prioritised for clients for riding school lessons.
However, there is alternative parking available in the following location:
Pontcanna Fields Car Park, Fields Park Road, CF11 9JP
We encourage participants to walk or cycle where possible.
Please do not park on the side of the Avenue – you will get booked!
REFRESHMENTS
Teas, coffees and light refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the day. We can only accept cash payments for this please.
