Tansy Lederhaus is the author of the book "43 days.", which shares her journey through a life-changing car crash that killed her best friend and left her with less than a one percent chance of surviving. Her book describes the survival, strength and resilience that followed a 43-day hospital stay and the long road to recovery. After receiving over 100 units of blood, she experienced firsthand the life-saving power of donation.
