The Friends' Annual Book Sale benefiting the Rahway Public Library will take place from April 2nd to April 5th at the Rahway Public Library auditorium.Hardcover, paperbacks, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles will be available at reasonable prices. To top it off, the last day of the sale will feature the “pay one price” option, wherein customers can purchase a handsome Friends of the Library cloth tote bag can fill it with as many books as the bag can hold.
The first night of the sale is restricted to members of the Friends group and those who would like to join the Friends by paying the customary annual membership dues at the door.
Sale hours will be Wednesday, April 2, 5-7:30 PM; Friday, April 4, 10 AM–4 PM, and Saturday, April 5, 10 AM–2 PM.
The sale is made possible through donations from the community. We continue to welcome donations; these can be brought to Rahway Library circulation desk. For large number of items (many boxes, for example), please call ahead (732-340-1551) to arrange a time when one of our staffers can meet and arrange for the items to be put directly into storage.
Donations must be received no later than Monday, March 31.
