Join us for a Twilight Training Backpack Hike 🐕🗓️ DATE: Friday, February 6th
⏰ TIME: Our hike will begin at 4pm sharp, please arrive 15 minutes early to get ready and say hello.
📍 LOCATION: Secret Falls & Myrtle Gully Falls, via Cascades. We will meet at Old Farm Road parking area at the end of Old Farm Road, South Hobart.
🌲 ABOUT: This hike is 5-6km, and will take us through Cadcade Track and Myrtle Gully Track. This is a rainforest track, terrain will be varied and likely to be pretty wet in areas. Moderate inclines. Put aside 2.5 hours for this walk, with frequent breaks.
🥾 BRING: Your dog! Now is a good time to starting increasing weight to your dog's pack. A lead no longer than 2 meters, treat pouch, poo bags. Plenty of water for you and your dog. Even though it's dusk, remember suncare and a hat. Good shoes, layers to rug up if needed, and food for yourself and your dog if needed.
💵 As we prepare for our March trials, we are asking for voluntary donations to CPAT to help fund our trials. These donations will help cover the costs of hosting our interstate judge, insurances, gear, etc. If you are able to donate $5 to our club for each hike we host, that would be greatly appreciated. Donations welcome both in cash and account transfer.
