FRIDAY NOVEMBER 8: JOSHUA TUREK

Deemed a less problematic Charles Bukowski meets a younger Jeff Bridges by a stranger on the internet, Joshua Turek has amassed a large cult following on social media with his viral comedy videos. His unintelligible rants have garnered over 1 billion views on TikTok alone and brought him hundreds of thousands of fans who recognize him regularly at his day job. A trained actor and screenwriter, he sold a script for a dollar that Bob Saget directed as his final movie, which currently has 3.4 stars out of 10 on IMDb and only because he himself voted for it several times from different email accounts (he gave it a 9 out of 10 for effort). An outsider in Hollywood and a failed child actor, Joshua is the host of the Turek Books Podcast where comedians and other interesting people talk about the books they are obsessed with. "On the Outside Looking Up" is his first published poetry collection, a true labor of love felt in every page.

— Most tables seat 4 total guests. You may be seated with strangers if your party has less than four guests.

— All shows are 17 and over. 21+ to drink.

— No dress code.

— Shows run about an hour and 15 minutes.

— Doors open 60 minutes prior to show-time. Arriving at least 15 minutes before show time is always a good idea!

— Seating is first come first serve with a strict no-call, no-show policy. Please call The Comedy Bar if you are running late!

— Additional sanitary and safety measures are being implemented in consideration of our staff and guests. All attendees are required to follow suggested safety practices and anyone in violation of state regulations may be asked to leave the premises with no refund.

*The two-item minimum policy requires each guest to purchase a minimum of two items from our menu during their visit, this can include any combination of food and/or beverages.
