Friday Night SlowDown
An Adult R&B Skate Party | Ages 18+
Looking for something different to do on a Friday night? Friday Night SlowDown is a late-night adult skate party where smooth R&B vibes meet the freedom of the skate floor.
This is for the folks who’ve always wanted to hit a roller skating party but didn’t know where to start and it’s also for our seasoned skaters who’ve been gliding, sliding, and styling for years. We created this space to bring everyone together. Whether you’re rocking your first rental skates or showing off your well-worn 8s, you belong here.
We blend two worlds to make the magic happen:
A Guest DJ (straight out of the club/lounge world) sets the tone with that late-night R&B party feel, new & old R&B, dance floor vibes, and smooth blends that make you wanna two-step even if you’re still hugging the wall.
Then our House DJ (Swizzy), a staple in the skate community, takes over and spins for the skaters. He’s all about those long R&B runs, mid-tempo grooves, and tracks that make the floor feel like a dance. all while giving you a taste of Snap City!
And yes — we’ve got food covered too.
We’re partnering with Finishing Touches Kitchen, serving up delicious late-night eats with a variety of options to keep you fueled while you roll (or recover). Whether you’re craving something savory or need a quick bite between songs, they’ve got you.
This is for:

- New skaters curious about the culture
- Experienced skaters who live to glide
- People who want something different on a Friday night
- Anyone who wants to feel the vibe, even if they don’t skate
Why We’re Doing This:
We love skating — and we want to share that love. Our goal is to bring new people into the community, get folks to buy skates, and support our local rinks. Skating is more than just movement; it’s music, art, rhythm, and expression. Friday Night SlowDown is a space to feel all of that in one night.
