Dancing Your Depths is an intentional and imaginative movement practice where we sink deep into self-expression and creative expansion, supported by a curated and varied menu of music. This group has been occurring monthly since April 2023 and always welcomes new faces and feet.
There are no steps or choreography, but the practice is scaffolded by a loose framework that serves as a container for our explorations. Metaphors, somatic prompts, and imagery and imagination are all tools used to find new ways of self-expression, introspection, and interaction. There's a new theme each time!

If the nightclub glow or late-night events feel overwhelming sometimes, this might be a softer, more attuned way to move and to connect with a similarly introspective community of open-hearted movers who also crave full-bodied, expressive, and dynamic dance with a gentle dose of structure and movement-based moments of relating with others. Whether you're new to dance or have danced a lot, it's about honoring what moves you inside. No experience required—just an open mind and curiosity.

Cost is a sliding scale of $15–$22 per person ($10 for first-timers). Drop in and pay at the door with cash or Venmo (there is no formal pre-registration method at this time).
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and get settled. For safety reasons, doors may be locked after start time.
