Friday Night Crafts: Create Art with Shrinking Plastic (and PB&J making!)
Arrive anytime between 5:30-8:30 pm to enjoy this free activity!
One of our most popular Friday Night Crafts returns for an evening of tracing or free-hand designing with permanent markers, coloring with colored pencils, carefully cutting around any rough corners, maybe adding a hole punch if you want to make jewelry or a key chain, and then SHRINKING so that whatever you have made initially becomes smaller, sharper, more clear, more precise and all around cooler (once it finishes shrinking in the hot toaster oven of course!!)
All supplies provided, although if you want to make a particular design you might bring it with you to trace onto your shrinking plastic!
PLUS **Service Project ** join us for peanut butter and jelly sandwich making to take to Blessing Boxes around the city! With the holiday Saturday and the observed-holiday for many organizations on Friday, the need for extra food supports for our Topeka neighbors will be increased and we want to create opportunities for people to provide care (and sandwiches) for each other! We will have some supplies and more sandwich bread, peanut butter, and jelly are always accepted for this ongoing project!
Follow your art heart at Cafe Quetzal!
For Friday Night Crafts:
Projects are always free.
Everyone is always welcome.
