About this Event
Join Midwest Youth Services for a fun day in the sun at Knight's Action Park in Springfield, IL! Entrance into the park is provided, along with lunch. Bus transportation will also be provided to all youth. Youth need to be dropped off at Midwest Youth Services (2001 W. Lafayette in Jacksonville) by 8:45 am. Bus will depart Springfield back to Midwest Youth Services at 3 pm, for a 3:45 pm arrival time back in Jacksonville. Youth need to be picked up at MYS at 3:45 pm. Youth are welcome to bring snacks (no coolers) and money for concessions. We highly encourage youth to swear shoes they can easily slip on and off at the different water attractions. The concrete can be very hot at times. Youth need to have dry clothing to wear on the bus for the ride home.
*Registration/Sign up doesn't guarantee your spot. You will receive a personal phone call and email from Midwest Youth Services to confirm registration. Our goal with Friday Funday is to offer each youth a chance to attend summer programming. So, at times registration is not based on who signs up first, but who hasn't been provided the opportunity yet.
*Youth must be local and be between the ages of 11 - 17.
*All summer events in the "Friday Funday with MYS" Series are chaperoned.
