Plot Twist:
Plot Twist is an improv team whose style runs the gamut. With a ten-actor rotating roster, Plot Twist prioritizes collaboration and adaptability in every scene. Their shows feature detailed character work and accents, unexpected heightening, absurd world-building, and a sharp game sense. Plot Twist performs both short and long-form improv and has a custom Plot Twist opening!

Sidecar:
Sidecar is a group of goofy people who found a community and a calling in improv comedy. We're serious about being silly, and we can't wait to make you laugh!

What is an improv show, exactly?

Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!

The Highwire Center is Highwire Improv's home base in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore! Part of Highlandtown Main Street and the Highlandtown Arts District, The Highwire Center is home to classes, free workshops, shows, community events, corporate training, and more! The Highwire Center is accessible, with ramp access available, an ADA restroom, and flat transit throughout the space.
