Our second 2025 Lenten Friday Fish Fry Polka Party. Germans and Poles brought the Friday fish fry and polka parties to the Midwest, and the tradition lives on today throughout the heavily German and Polish Great Lakes region. Your Klub is bringing the tradition to Indy in 2025. Enjoy genuine Midwestern Fish Fry, some great German bier or a Brandy Old Fashioned, and put on your dancing shoes. Don your flashy Polka outfit, and come dance to polka at the German American Klub of Indianapolis’ first ever Polka & Fish Fry Night! Kid-friendly and great for all ages!Indy Polkamotion will be playing, and we will be playing old school polka vinyls and members of die Fledermäuschen Tanzgruppe will be happy to instruct anyone in the various types of steps that can be done to polka music! Out-of-date, corny outfits are encouraged but not mandatory.
Meal cost is approximately $20-$25 per person--see our Special Fish Fry Menu, but the event itself is free to attend!
