Friday Evening Informal Gathering at Tobay

Because we had so much fun here for our 50th, our plan is to hold this event at the outdoor/sheltered venue at Tobay Beach - on the bay side at the Surf Shack with additional (if needed) space or shelter from the weather at the Boatyard. Although they open at 11am we plan to start at 4pm and meet at their large outdoor bar where we can occupy tables without advance reservations for dinner if desired or just hang out at their venue. You can even bring beach chairs to sit outside but their tables have umbrellas and if the weather turns bad, the Boatyard next door offers more shelter from the weather and live music along with a fast food style menu. There is no parking fee after Labor Day and no beach access charge after 4pm since it is after Labor Day. Also may end up at the Lighthouse Diner afterwards Friday and/or Saturday night! For those who attended our 40th, this is on the bay side - our 40th was on the surf side.
If the weather is predicted to be really unpleasant, we will provide as much advance notification as possible and instead, start at the former Rusty Hinge (now the Shooter’s Tiki Sports Bar on Wantagh Avenue south of Sunrise) at 4PM instead.
