Our 1st pub ride was a success, so we're doing another one...this time from the Ferry Inn, taking in a bit of suburbia and the waterways.
Meeting at Wilford Toll Bridge we'll head out towards the canal along Birdcage Walk and wind our way down the canal, over the river and into suburbia. Using quiet back roads, cycle paths and canal paths, this is an easy-going 7 mile flat route for women only, ending up at the Ferry Inn for a refreshment if you so wish (no obligation to stay), but they do have a lovely, big outside garden if you do!
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!

You’ll be in safe hands, we’re experienced ride leaders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.
You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help enable you to join this ride.
