FRANKIE MONROE - Joe Kent-Walters is a multi-award winning comedian and actor from Huddersfield. He has been delighting audiences up and down the country with his idiosyncratic style of outrageous character comedy, most notably with his comic creation Frankie Monroe.
His “mesmerising and unpredictable presence” (Chortle) performing as Frankie saw him win the 2023 BBC New Comedy Award at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre. He also won the prestigious Best Newcomer award at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival. Joe is now in development with the BBC and is one of Jiksaw’s 2024 ‘Faces of Comedy.’
Joe’s debut solo show (as yet untitled) has already played to sell out crowds in London, Leeds, Manchester and Hull where the crowd “deservedly gave the act a standing ovation”
Frankie has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown next to Susie Dent in Dictionary Corner.
PATRICK MONAHAN - Audience favourite Patrick Monahan blends a high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material. Known for working a room, Patrick is adored by his audiences with whom he makes an effortless connection! Early in 2014 Patrick took part in the hit family entertainment series ‘Splash!’ (ITV) and appeared on the brand new series of ‘Celebrity Squares’ (ITV). He was also seen on ‘Fake Reaction’ (ITV) and on ‘Man Up’ (Fox) and was a regular 2014 guest on ‘Not The One Show’ (London Live). Last year Patrick could be seen as host of ‘Jongleurs Live!’ (Sky) and on ‘12 Again’ (CBBC/BBC2).
His 2013 TV appearances include ‘Comedy Annual’ (ITV1) ‘Daybreak’ (ITV1) ‘Loose Women’ (ITV1) and ‘The Wright Stuff’ (C5). Patrick was named ‘Britain’s Hardest Working Comedian 2015’ by www.Ents24.com for playing the highest number of venues in the UK!
In 2012 he took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’.Winner of the 2011 ITV1 series ‘Show Me The Funny’ which led to the release of his debut DVD ‘Patrick Monahan Live’ (2 Entertain).
PAUL HILLEARD - A Special Educational Needs teaching assistant from Pontypridd, Paul was named the winner of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024. The 31-year-old comedian impressed judges with his unique blend of surreal, observational humour at the televised finale, charming a live audience of over a thousand people at Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre.
‘Sound, innit? Good, yeah, nice,’ he said after being announced as the winner.
Known for his vivid storytelling that reflects his working-class roots, Hilleard’s winning set featured tales from his hometown, delivered with a fresh and imaginative twist. He also performed on BBC 1 as part of Comic Relief 2025.
MC JACK KELLY - Jack has spent most of his life narrowly avoiding success. Back when he worked for Tesco, he was runner up in the prestigious Best Colleague Award, just pipped at the post by Dennis from checkouts. Despite his popularity, Jack still suspects Dennis was putting customers' points onto his own Clubcard, which would explain how he went to Alton Towers so frequently.
In February 2019, Jack got up and told some jokes to twelve people above a cocktail bar in Glossop and he's been trying to replicate that rush of dopamine ever since.
He’s also written for BBC Radio 4, is a regular host for the award-winning The Laughienda Comedy Club, has had two successful runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and was a finalist for Greater Manchester Fringe Comedian Of The Year.
