About this Event

Please note: Booking is Essential

The current Tate’s exhibition is called Frida - The Making of an Icon and, while it includes some important works by her, is more about her influence on other artists. Some of these were contemporaries, but most came later and produced a number of fascinating works relating to Mexican/American civil rights movements, disability and LGBTQI+ art. The exhibition also includes Tehuana dresses from Frida’s wardrobe. Join Frank Woodgate, Arts Society Lecturer, for find out more.

In-person: For access to the event, please use the Aldermanbury entrance to Guildhall Library/The London Centre.

Online via YouTube: Event link to be sent to attendees 24 hours prior to the talk.
