𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡
"For me, art is about exploring the psychology of perception. I like to push the boundaries of space by using extreme perspectives and shifting viewpoints. The audience is seeing through an expanded lens, where the point-of-view is happening everywhere, surrounding the scene from all angles simultaneously. "
𝐍𝐚𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢
"I depict cartoon-like characters in my imaginary, candy-colored world of pop and fantasy, using a sand painting technique known as Sunae in Japanese.
Sunae is made with brightly colored, fine-grain sand on adhesive paper. Although the process requires patience and precision, it evokes a childlike sense of playfulness and joy within me."
👉 These artists will be in the gallery working on new pieces of art, answering questions, and demonstrating their skills and techniques. Swing by from 12-5 PM to see what they're working on!
