Students will learn 3 ways to dye natural fibers with fresh indigo leaves.
About this Event

Students will learn 3 ways to dye natural fibers (cotton & silk) with fresh Indigo leaves. They will be given samples of silk and cotton to dye as well as a silk scarf. Students will go home with rooted Indigo plants to plant in their own gardens.


Bring to Class:
Wear clothes that can be stained. Class will be outside so bring a hat,
sunscreen and bug repellant.
