FRESH BLOOD is a new quarterly event series celebrating the best in upcoming metal,
alternative, and pop punk — platforming both emerging and established artists while providing
a creative space for the wider scene. Each edition takes on a new format and city, keeping
things fresh and ever-evolving.
This first run spotlights a powerful lineup of all-upcoming artists:
🔥 TOTALBUZZKILL (Headline) — First Nations-fronted metalcore from the Northern
Rivers/Lismore region, blending crushing heaviness with raw emotional intensity. Already a
band to watch, their live show is a storm of chaos and catharsis.
⚡ DOWN AND OUT (Main Support) — Adelaide’s rising pop punk powerhouse, fresh off the
release of new track Guilty As Hell and notable collabs with Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens)
and Emmy Mack (RedHook).
🌑 BRIDGE LEFT TO BURN (Local Opener) — Female-fronted Sydney metalcore bringing
raw emotion and ferocity to set the night ablaze.
But Fresh Blood is more than music. Sponsored by alternative clothing brands Journeys
Apparel & True North Collective, and appearances by local tattoo artists adding to the culture.
And when the lights go down...
The night continues with the EMO NIGHT Afterparty — a throwback hosted by Last Words,
spinning anthems from MCR, Paramore, Pierce The Veil & more until late!
