What to expect at the all-new French Cutting Masterclass:

Our weekend begins with live demos with Candy Shaw to propel you into her French Cutting curriculum. We'll dive deep into the French Cutting basics that will redefine your hair cutting fundamentals and open your mind to the creative possibilities of stepping outside the realm of British Cutting. You will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with the Sunlights Artisan Team to perfect the foundational French Cutting techniques(i.e. Exterior, Interior, Méche a Méche, etc).

Once you've practiced the French angles and body position haircut on your mannequin, we want to invite you into our hair home, Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. Our renowned hairdressers will introduce you to the art of French Cutting in the salon with a series of live demonstrations and empower you to execute your first and second French haircut on live guests. This allows you to dive into the trenches and fully understand how the placement of your shears and angles depending on each guests' desired look and head shape.

As we wrap up our weekend of education and inspiration, Candy Shaw and the Sunlights Artisan Team are ready to get raw and unplugged in a hair jam session! We will address all the questions that raced through your mind as you practiced on your live guests. These discussions will touch on the French techniques used to achieve your guests' desired look, maximizing your business at the chair, the power of French Cutting to increase your profits and much more!
