"Master the Art of French Pastries"Dive into the world of classic French baking in this hands-on workshop where you'll create three iconic pastries: buttery Croissants, indulgent Pain au Chocolat, and nutty, decadent Almond Croissants. Under the guidance of an expert baker, you'll learn the secrets of laminating dough, shaping, and achieving the perfect bake. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, this class offers a delightful and rewarding experience as you bring the taste of France to life in your own kitchen.

1. Butter Crossaint - Laminated dough from scratch
2. Pain au chocolat
3. Almond Croissant (Croissant aux Amandes)
4. Ham and Cheese Crossaint

Suggested Wine Pairing

White Wine – Chenin Blanc (off-dry or sparkling) Sweetness and crisp acidity enhance buttery croissants and complement almond and chocolate pastries.

What to Expect:

• You'll partner with other students in groups of four, sharing workstations and culinary equipment.

• Classes typically run for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

• Our hands-on classes maintain a cozy size, accommodating 12-20 students, in Shed 5 at Eastern Market

• Be prepared for an active session, as you'll be on your feet, cooking, and fully engaged for the majority of the class.

• For your comfort and safety, we recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and securing long hair away from your face.

• Evelyn’s Midtown Kitchen is committed to maintaining common sanitation standards, and for this reason, you may be asked to wash your hands multiple times to contribute to the safety of food handling.
