Freedomfest 5K Walk/Run

The City of Port St. Lucie invites the community to kick off Independence Day at the Freedomfest 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, July 4. Participants are encouraged to lace up their running shoes, wear red, white and blue and join this first-ever City event.
The race begins at 7 a.m. at MIDFLORIDA Event Center front plaza, 9221 SE Event Center Place.
EVENT DETAILS
➡️ 5:45 a.m.: Registration opens
➡️ 5:45-6:45 a.m.: Free parking on site. After 6:45 a.m., participants will be redirected to park at the Publix Plaza for the remainder of the event.
➡️ 6:40 a.m.: Warm up
➡️ 7 a.m.: Race begins
➡️ 8 a.m.: Post-race festivities and awards ceremony. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, along with age‑group awards for both.

All runners must complete a waiver during sign‑up. Registration fees are listed below:

➡️ June 15-20: $40
➡️ June 21-July 3: $45
➡️ Race day: $60
Race bibs and T-shirts can be picked up between 3:30-6 p.m. Friday, July 3 at Fleet Feet, 11586 SW Village Parkway. Race‑day pickup also will be available on site.
