Freedom Fridays

We are a nonpartisan group standing up for human rights, justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion in a peaceful, persistent, and positive kind of way. We attend demonstrations, co-ordinate carpooling, and share our experiences. We are Engaged Defenders for Democracy meeting up every Friday in Wilson at the corner of Airport Blvd and Raleigh Rd (Lid’l and BestBuy.)
We are part of a larger group out of Durham called Engaged Defenders for Democracy. We use to go to their protests in Raleigh. Carol, Susan, Sharon, Patsy, John and I started up our own event here in Wilson every Friday.
