Welcome to the 2026 Freedom 5K and Independence Mile!
The courses will be certified and we will have chip timing. All runners will receive a singlet with all that 'Murica loving July 4th theme. Post race we will grill hot dogs and have drinks for participants.

PACKET PICKUP WILL BE AT RUNNINGLANE on Wednesday from 11am-5pm AND Thursday from 11am-5pm.

RACE DAY Packet Pickup:
We STRONGLY encourage everyone to pick up your packets if at all possible on Wednesday & Thursday from 11a-5p That said, we will have packet pickup morning of the race from 6:00am - 6:45am near the start finish line on Church Street (near this address: 200 Church St SW, Huntsville, AL 35801). Please note the race will start at 7am sharp!
