About this Event
Be the difference in a young person’s life. This full-day Youth Mental Health First Aid training gives you the skills and confidence to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in youth.
Designed for adults who work with, live with, or support young people, this interactive training covers common mental health concerns, crisis situations—including suicide—and how to provide initial support until appropriate help is received. You’ll learn a practical, evidence-based action plan that empowers you to step in when it matters most.
Throughout the day, participants will engage in real-life scenarios, group discussions, and guided activities that make the learning hands-on and meaningful. By the end of the training, you’ll be better equipped to support youth with compassion, reduce stigma, and connect them to the resources they need.
Join us in building a stronger, more supportive community—because mental health matters, and early intervention can save lives.
