FREE Youth iPad PSA Bootcamp
Monday - Friday | 9 am - 1 pm
Lights, camera… iPad! 📱✨
Learn to film and edit Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in this hands-on, week-long camp for youth ages 10–15. Working with Hōʻike instructors, students will explore storytelling, filming, interviewing, and editing while creating a real PSA in collaboration with a local nonprofit.
This fast-paced bootcamp is designed for beginners and creatives alike. Using iPads provided by Hōʻike, students gain real-world media skills while building confidence and working as a team.
What students will learn:
- Story development and planning
- Camera basics and shot composition
- Interviewing and audio recording
- Editing and storytelling techniques
- Media messaging for community impact
Each session concludes with a final screening for family and community members.
