Free Community Yoga — Green Valley RanchJoin us on the first Saturday of every month from 1:00–2:00 PM for a free, beginner-friendly community yoga class at DSST High School in the Student Union building.
This class is designed for all bodies and all levels, especially if you’re new to yoga or easing back into movement. The experience is a gentle blend of slow vinyasa flow and restorative yoga, set to a curated playlist of hip-hop, R&B, and Latin favorites—think Drake, Beyonce, Cardi, Bad Bunny, Selena, and timeless classics that feel good in your body and your spirit.
What to expect:
• Slow Vinyasa Flow:
Vinyasa connects breath with movement. In this class, the flow is intentionally slow and accessible. You’ll move through simple, foundational poses with clear guidance, focusing on breath, balance, and ease—no pressure to “keep up.”
• Restorative Yoga:
Restorative yoga is all about deep rest and nervous system reset. Poses are supported with props and held longer so your body can fully relax. Expect grounding, calming shapes that help release tension and stress.
Mats and blocks are provided, so all you need to do is show up as you are.
This is a welcoming, community-centered space meant to help you move, breathe, and reconnect—no experience required. Come for the movement, stay for the vibes.
