The Funky Red Pandas:
The Funky Red Pandas are Aberdeen's award-winning and funkiest funk band.
Inspired by acts like James Brown, Red Hot Chilli Peppers & Jamiroquai.
Putting the fun in funk, The Funky Red Pandas were winners of the North East's Eruption Battle of The Bands in 2023.
The band went viral when they released a music video for their debut single Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Appearances on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Sounds, Northsound One, Shmu fm, Original 106fm and more followed, solidifying their status (to some) as "Aberdeen's hottest band".
With their infectious brand of original funk music (peppered with funky covers) the pandas are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and a groove to your shoes. Knowing them they will have some fun festive surprises in store for this one too…
Deaf Turtle
Deaf Turtle are an indie rock/pop/punk five-piece with synthy, new-wave undertones. Based in the North-East of Scotland, Deaf Turtle have been rocking the shells off turtles and non-turtles alike since 2022. They draw inspiration from the likes of The War On Drugs, Talking Heads, Angels & Airwaves, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The B-52's & Roxy Music.
