FREE World Breastfeeding Month Community Event
About this Event
Join the ACHD WIC program and The Allegheny County Breastfeeding Coalition (ACBC) on August 14 for our free community event as we celebrate World Breastfeeding Month with exclusive breastfeeding vendors, raffle drawings and giveaways, complimentary breastfeeding/family photo shoots, and much more!
In addition to the fun, the ACHD WIC program and the ACBC will showcase 30 years of our Breastfeeding Friendly Place Awards (BFPA), and announce and our 2026 award recipients. Our BFPAs recognize small businesses, public places, and employers in Allegheny County who go above and beyond in providing lactation spaces and support. We will also hear a special presentation from the experts at the Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh!
Come join us for this collaborative event on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10am-2pm at 2121 Noblestown Road in Pittsburgh, PA.

Parking is free and first come first serve. As you approach the building, please follow the outdoor signage directing parking in our upper right hand lot. There is also a bus stop conveniently located at our address entrance: stop number #2212.
