This free seminar will be co-hosted by our very own Canon City Police Department and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Canon City.
If you’ve been thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), but you don’t want to get injured or embarrassed, this seminar is exactly what you need to attend!
In this special 2.5-hour free seminar, you will get a brief orientation on the history of BJJ and then you will learn several techniques from Women Empowered, the world’s leading beginner BJJ program for women.
Although no experience is necessary, the event often reaches capacity so pre-registration is strongly recommended.
In addition, we will be gathering free-will donations for Uncaged Today, a local nonprofit dedicated to equipping women and young girls with the confidence to live a life of freedom by offering prevention, healing, and empowerment through women’s self defense classes!
