Free Winter Family Day at A&H + Wintery Clayscapes Family Art Workshop
About this Event
Surrounded by artists’ studios in our main garden, families will use their imaginations to create mini winter wonderlands with clay, natural materials and frosty embellishments at our Family Art Workshop!
We’ll have other surprises too, like ❄️ snowy craft stations ❄️ face painting ❄️ a winter themed scavenger hunt ❄️ and free admission to three museums!
A&H’s Maitland Art Center was originally built in 1937 as an artists’ colony and named the Research Studio. Our founder, artist J. Andre’ Smith, had a dream that all artists creating in this space would experiment with art, and we can’t think of a more fun way to celebrate winter then by creating winter themed arts and crafts on our National Historic Landmark Campus!
Our Winter Family Day is free of charge and sponsored by Massey Services. The Family Art Workshop is recommended for children ages 4 and over, and under 4 with parental help. Space and art supplies are limited (one art project per child, while supplies last), so sign up today!
