Every year during Easter Swing, the Seattle Swing Dance Club hosts a FREE bootcamp for beginners with our fantastic local instructors. These instructors will create a safe and fun environment for you to begin your dance journey with a fast-growing, global dance style.Afterward, we invite you to join us in the main ballroom to watch the Friday evening show and social dance.

Join us at 7PM and learn West Coast Swing for 2 hours. Rotate to new people often while you learn and make new friends. During the 2 hour bootcamp you will learn enough moves to start social dancing! A DJ will come in after class at 9PM and play music till 11PM so you can practice all the new moves you just learned. Afterward you're more than welcome to stay the rest of the evening and join the other event attendees for some late night social dancing.
West Coast Swing is a dynamic, fun, and ever changing dance that comes from Lindy. Over the years the dance has changed with the music and we dance to everything from Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Country, Blues, and more! Come try it out.
