Unity in Peoria reflects Dr. King’s call to build a Beloved Community, grounded in unity, services, and justice. The afternoon celebration will feature live music and performances by local artists, cultural and arts-based activities, children’s crafts, and community resource tables hosted by local nonprofit organizations and City departments.Event Highlights & Performances:
- National Anthem performed by Breanna Pettiette
- Posting of the Colors by the Buffalo Soldiers of Arizona
- Pretty Precise Step Team performance
- Shaka Porter, spoken word artist
- Cotton Boll Elementary School Honor Choir, directed by James Diaz
- Monique the Song Byrd, headlining musical performance

- Sedona Arts Center Craft Corner with hands-on art activities for children
