Travel the world without leaving Burlington! The Capitol Theater is proud to open its 2025–2026 Free Travelogue Film Series with acclaimed filmmaker and TV producer Robert G. Rose, presenting his latest work, Ukraine: Fighting for a Just Peace.Robert Rose — producer of the Raw Travel TV series and the documentary My Summer in Ukraine — has visited Ukraine seven times, including four trips since Russia’s full-scale invasion. In this powerful program, Rose combines uplifting stories and stunning visuals from his travels in 2019 with exclusive and sometimes harrowing footage filmed as recently as August 2025.
Audiences will experience the resilience, courage, and humanity of the Ukrainian people through Rose’s lens, as he contrasts the country’s pre-war beauty and its ongoing fight to preserve freedom. Rose also reflects on how Ukraine’s struggle has shaped his life as a humanitarian, human rights advocate, storyteller, and video journalist.
