In a ministerial statement on June 1 the Premier and Deputy Premier said that York’s hollow (where Ibis Island is) would remain open, as well as the Urban Pump Track (Herston side) and ‘some green space’, this is now shown to be a blatant lie used to placate the public’s concerns about closure of green space
