FREE Summer Youth Jazz Band

The Fairbanks Community Band is hosting two completely free youth bands this summer - a Youth Jazz Band & a Youth Concert Band! The Youth Jazz Band will be rehearsing at the Band Hall at 3528 International St each Monday from 5-6pm. The Youth Concert Band will meet on Thursdays 5-6pm. Both are designed to provide local music students with opportunities to continue developing their skills, collaborate with peers, and experience the joy of ensemble performance. Geared towards students with at least 1-2 years of experience and their own instrument, the level of music will be middle school through high school. The groups will meet weekly and share a final performance, showcasing the talents and hard work of all participants.
