FREE Summer Lunches at United Lutheran Church!
Serving Mondays-Thursdays, August 3-20, 2026
12 noon - 1pm in the ULC Fellowship Hall
All ages are welcome!
For three weeks in August, there is not a summer meal program in our community. July 31, lunches in the park wrap up for the summer and school lunches don’t begin again until the first day of school.
This means there is a gap period when children and families who are food insecure don’t have a place to turn for a meal. Leaders in the Grand Forks schools and in our community are clear that these meals make a huge difference in the lives of children and families.
United Lutheran Church is once again stepping out in faith to be God’s hands, filling the gap in August for hungry neighbors. This is a huge effort and we are ready to serve. We are looking for donations of dessert/treat items as well as volunteers. If you are able to donate treats, please contact the church office at 775-4279.
