Join us at Black Mountain Town Hall for a free stream bank repair workshop on February 13th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! Attendees will learn how to protect and improve the natural environment of streams by stabilizing a streambank. NC State University and other local experts will provide practical, cost-effective solutions using natural materials and native plants to create healthy, stable streambanks and repair small scale repairs.
This is a free workshop but we ask you to please register so that we know how many are coming. Register online by February 12th at: https://tinyurl.com/5n9bhf6h
NOTE: This workshop will be how-to presentations and discussion only. No hands-on installation at a stream site. Participants will receive live stakes to take back to their own stream to use.
This is a FREE non-certification workshop.
