Back from Thursday 11 September 2025, bring your 0 to 5-year-old to our free weekly story and rhyme time in the warm, cosy snug at the Swindon Hub (36, The Parade, SN1 1BA). On every Thursday in term time, 10.30–11am. No need to book – come when you can. ☺️ 📚
Our Literacy Champion volunteers read a picture book or two out loud and lead families through popular nursery rhymes and songs with all the fun actions. 🎵 🙋‍♂️
Not only is the group a lovely way to meet other local families, but simple storytelling activities like these help little ones learn new words and communication skills, whilst also supporting their social and emotional development. 🧠 🥰
There’s also lots to enjoy at the Swindon Hub, from the soft play area that’s free to use, to the community bookshelves you can explore to borrow new stories. ✨
