Welcome to the FREE St. Pete Ruck Club - Kickoff Social and Ruck!

Join us at CrossFit9 for a fun-filled event. Rucking is simply walking with a weighted backpack—it's a low-impact way to build strength, boost endurance, get outdoors, and connect with others. No experience or special gear needed. This family-friendly event is all about good vibes, fresh air, and building camaraderie in our local community. Perfect for beginners, families, seasoned ruckers, or anyone looking to try something new.
WHEN: 2nd Sunday 10:45 AM - 12:00ish PM

WHO: Open to EVERYONE! Families, friends, strollers, and well-behaved furry friends are all welcome. Be sure

COST: Completely FREE!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Water (and a bowl if you're bringing a pet)
• Optional: Comfortable ruck pack, backpack, or weighted vest
• Sunblock
• Bug spray
• Sweat towel
• Comfortable, broken-in shoes or boots
• Airpods optional

NOTE: No weight required! We can provide dumbbells or kettlebells to add to your backpack if desired.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Brief warm-up and mobility (focusing on ankles, hips, knees, shoulders, low back, and neck)
• Walk the prescribed distance, or shorter
• Move at your best pace, and take breaks as needed
• Ruck with or without weight
• Friendly community atmosphere
• Optional mile markers and turn-around points
• CrossFitters, this is the perfect preparation for Murph!
