FREE Sports EKG Screenings
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, in partnership with Who We Play For, offers sports EKG screenings at NO COST for groups of children, adolescents and young adults, ages 10-21, in local schools, sports or community organizations.
A pediatric electrocardiogram (EKG) can detect potential heart problems in active children and young athletes. Screenings are painless and noninvasive, using a series of electrodes on the chest to measure electrical activity of the heart.
Individual EKG exams can be performed by appointment in one of our community cardiology offices. To schedule an appointment, please call the Heart Institute at 954-276-2000 or schedule online at JDCH.com/EKG.
