What we will practice.
1) How to quiet your mind and let go of negative thinking
2) How to connect with your natural breath, intelligence of the heart and nature to be more calm and creative
3) Experiencing a deeper understanding of consciousness.
Most of our unhappiness comes from our thoughts. Each day we have thousands of them, and sometimes we latch onto a few and spiral into stress or worry. Shhh It! Simple Meditation is about learning how to let those thoughts go.
We often dwell on regrets from yesterday or worries about tomorrow. But yesterday is already gone, and the future rarely unfolds the way we imagine. That’s why we train to come back to the present.
Meditation isn’t about stopping thoughts. It’s about REALISING YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS. The mind produces thoughts, just as the lungs produce breath. The difference is, you don’t confuse yourself with your breath! Real peace begins when you experience this simple truth.
So come join us. Stretch on a comfy mat, sit on a pillow or sink into a beanbag. Together we’ll follow the breath, quiet the mind, and practice the art of letting go. No experience needed ❤
