Orlando, My Political Autobiography (2023), directed by Paul B. Preciado, takes us on a journey of collective transformation, exploration, and redefinition of our social and political norms about gender identities, roles, and their social construction. The filmmaker casts a diverse group of more than twenty trans and non-binary individuals in the role of Orlando as they perform interpretations of scenes from the novel, weaving into Woolf's narrative, their own stories of identity and transition.
Join us for this creative, warm, funny, and powerful manifesto, to (re)discover the concepts and work of Preciado, engaged among others, against anti-trans ideologies and in the fight for global trans rights.
